Security & FAQ

What legal, security and buying teams ask, answered.

See every feature
How long are video messages kept?

As long as you decide: from 1 to 365 days, set per platform — a new platform starts at 90. When the window closes, the video file is destroyed along with the sender’s and recipient’s personal details; an hourly job applies it.

How is consent collected?

Every recording requires an active acceptance of your terms: one mandatory box, with your own terms and privacy links. Optional marketing opt-ins stay separate, and each answer is stored as a field of the message, readable through the API.

Can messages be reviewed before they reach the recipient?

Yes. With moderation on, a message stays unreleased until a reviewer approves it, approves it quietly or rejects it. A rejected message can no longer be opened, even through the public API.

Where does the video live?

On the Livstick platform, played in the browser from pages in your colours — no app to install. The hosted link follows your retention window, then the file is destroyed.

Whose legal documents does the journey show?

Yours. Your platform holds three slots — privacy policy, terms of service and legal mentions — and Livstick places them in the journey; the wording stays yours.

How do buying and set-up work?

It starts with a scoping call: the journey, the channels, your branding and your legal wording are agreed per programme, then set up with our team. Capabilities can be switched on progressively — start with the core journey, add the rest as the programme grows.
